Brand Reputation First
We prioritize established brands that have a proven history of quality and customer support. We generally avoid unknown or no-name brands. We only include an unfamiliar brand if its product ratings and verified review volume are exceptionally strong across multiple shopping platforms.
Ratings and Review Standards
To be featured on GogoPik, a product normally must maintain an average customer rating of about 4.2 out of 5 stars or higher. This score must be backed by a meaningful number of verified buyer reviews rather than just a few early ratings.
Price and Value Checks
Before we feature a product or deal, we check its price at major retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Target and Best Buy, and list the best verified prices we find. We evaluate the actual dollar value relative to the feature set, not just a large percentage-off claim. If we detect that a seller artificially raised a price right before discounting it, we exclude that deal.
When We Remove Products
We regularly re-evaluate our selections. A product is removed from our site if:
- Customer feedback shows a spike in quality or safety complaints.
- The average rating drops significantly below our standards.
- We detect signs of fake or manipulated reviews.
- The deal is no longer available at the featured price.
